Role and Responsibilities

Your role

You are responsible for managing the implementation and maintenance of our data management platform (DMP and CDP). You will look at opportunities in 1st party data to optimize Samsung's customer data-driven marketing approach and help the transition into the cookie less world. Working closely with a team of customer data platform product owners, you will connect the marketing platforms and let them ready to deploy to the activation teams. In addition, in cooperation with other data specialists, you provide actionable data analyses and segmentation insights based on data across different channels.

You will also optimize the customer journey on Samsung.com by executing and analyzing A/B testing per audience segment. Your insights will help drive better performance in Samsung’s digital environment and maximize conversion rate (CRO).

Your responsibilities

Your main responsibility as a Marketing Analytics Manager (as a part of a cross-functional team) is enabling data-driven marketing activities. You will play a key role in our customer data-driven marketing tech using the analytics tools and approaches.

Besides that, your responsibilities are the following:

  • Develop marketing data strategy for personalization and audience targeting.
  • Develop strategy and roadmap for audience segmentation and personalization in marketing communication
  • Identify and manage suppliers that support data strategy development and implementation
  • Identify key customer segmentation and support personalized marketing communication for precision targeting.
  • Consider GDPR and privacy guidelines, data security measures, and advancement of a cookie-less digital marketing environment.
  • Managing, guiding, and providing support with various marketing tech tools, such as customer data management platform, audience platform, social marketing platforms etc.
  • Responsible for Conversion Rate Optimalization (A/B, Multivariate testing & personalization)
  • Map requirements and projects from stakeholders, including business divisions, marketing communication team, and data analytics team.
  • Establish collaboration with European and global teams working on projects.
  • Evangelize the data-driven marketing and its strategy to the stakeholders while communicating in a plain and intuitive language so that stakeholders easily follow even the sophisticated and technical concepts.

The ideal Marketing Analytics Managers recognize themselves in the following profile:

  • Knowledge and skills in DMPs or CDPs: Adobe Audience Manager, Adobe Experience Platform, or similar.
  • Experience in Google Marketing Platform and tools: GA360, SA360, DV360, Google Ads data hub, and Big Query or similar tools.
  • Knowledge and skills in A/B testing tools: Adobe Target, Google Optimize, Optimizely, or similar.
  • Knowledge and skills in web analytics tools: Adobe Analytics and/or Google Analytics.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, networking, project management, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent OA software skills such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Flexible (able to adapt to constant changes).
  • You are innovative (we move fast and take big risks).
  • You are passionate (we reveal in what we do).
  • You are collaborative (we recognize that we are all in this together).

We consider it a plus if you have the following experience:

  • Experience in Facebook Business Manager.
  • Knowledge and skills in SQL and Python for data processing and data mining (modeling).
  • Skills in data visualization tools (Data Studio, Looker, PowerBI, or Tableau).
  • Skills in Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and Web scraping.
  • Knowledge in data engineering, API, and cloud computing (GCP, Azure, and Databricks).

Preferred qualifications

As a Marketing Analytics Managers you have the following qualification(s):

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics (Business economics), Quantitative Marketing, Business Information, Business Administration, or equivalent experiences
  • Minimum 5-year experience in a related field: marketing tech, digital marketing, marketing analytics, or customer data-driven marketing
  • More than 2-year of experience in a managerial role (people manager)
  • Experience in digital marketing at publishers or digital Ads agencies is a huge plus.
  • Team player.
  • English is required (Speaking Dutch is a plus).
  • No 9-5 mentality but challenging oneself to move forward.
